In a retail environment, in the middle of one of the world’s busiest, noisiest and sometimes hottest cities, create a cool and welcoming oasis of calm.
The answer
An urban garden - a new and exciting twist on an old idea. A feature of many classical French gardens, like those at the Palace of Versailles on the outskirts of Paris, the secret garden was a quiet place hidden away, as its name suggests, from the everyday comings and goings of its grander surroundings. Taking these ‘gardens within a garden’ as their inspiration, Linedota have created a modern equivalent; a tree-lined haven of peace and tranquillity where, beneath paper clouds, visitors can indulge their senses in colours, textures and fragrances that are ever-changing with the seasons.
